Movement and Circulation…
I always encourage you to move more outwith class to help boost the circulation. It sends oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and helps your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. When your heart and lung health improves you have more energy to tackle daily chores.
I have also explained that this improved blood flow sends FRESH blood and oxygen to the muscles. Why is this good? Because
- it helps every organ in your body to function properly,
- helps to heal wounds faster,
- keeps your brain sharp
- carries away the muscle’s waste back to the kidneys
- and this all leads to faster recovery times,
- less soreness after a workout
- and improved tissue health.
Any movement is better than no movement at all even if you are sitting you can move to get the blood pumping. Try to move at least every hour and feel yourself get warm and ease away any tensions in your body.
